Laura Orange is a board-certified Adult Gerontology acute care Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at the California State University, Sacramento, followed by her Bachelor’s of Nursing from Creighton University in 2010. She completed her Master’s of science in Nursing from the University of Reno, Nevada. She is also currently expanding her knowledge in Healthcare Policy reform and working towards her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
Laura believes in team-based care and working collaboratively with other health care team members to deliver the best patient-centered care. She actively advocates for her patient’s, and participates in a shared decision making model with her patients to reach healthy lifestyle goals.
She enjoys preparing food to eat healthy meals and spending as much time with her husband and kids as possible. She loves to travel and is actively working towards her goal of completing a half marathon in all 50 states as part of her lifelong commitment to exercise and health. Laura is affiliated with American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American association of critical-care nurses.
